The Siskiyou Arts Museum will be staging its second annual Theater Night on Saturday, March 21 at 7 p.m., with samples of theater from College of the Siskiyous, Siskiyou Senior Players, and Mount Shasta Childrens’ Theatre.

The charge is a suggested $5 donation at the door, with all proceeds going to the Siskiyou Arts Museum.

The College of the Siskiyous Theater Arts Department will present a short sample of “The Singularity Machine,” written and directed by Neil Carpentier-Alting. It centers around a family that escapes into the future from the climate catastrophe of the present day. It will be staged April 3 through 11 at the college’s Kenneth Ford Theater.

The Siskiyou Senior Players, directed by DeLeon Grabowski, will present selections from their spring show which will be performed the last two weekends in April at the college.

The Mount Shasta Childrens’ Theater, under the direction of Wendy James, will perform “Money” from “Cabaret” and a short comedy skit, “Action News.”

The Childrens’ Theater will be staging “Seussical The Musical” the last weekend in May at the Jefferson Center For The Arts in Mount Shasta, and their annual recital will be at COS June 20.

There will also be some improvisation at the end of the program that will involve audience participation.
