Paula Rossetto

Rossetto was sworn in on August 13, 2019, to fulfill the remaining term of retiring member Martin Nicholas. Paula, a graduate of Weed High School, class of 1979, College of the Siskiyous and Chico State, recently returned to Weed after retiring from her over 30-year career at the California State Capital in Sacramento.

Besides spending time with her mother and new puppy, Penelope, Paula works part time in the office at Roseburg Forest Products, is the vice president of the Sons and Daughters of Italy Weed Lodge #1269, and is a member of the Weed Museum Board of Directors.

Veronica Rivera

After graduating from Weed High School in 1989, Veronica Rivera served over three years in the U.S. Marine Corp. Before moving back to Weed, she trained through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and became a Journeyman Electrician. In 2001, Veronica attained her Electrical Contractors License and opened Gold Star Electric.

Presently, she is the Facilities Director at College of the Siskiyous. She was sworn in December 19, 2019, and is filling the WRPD Board position left by retiring member Mark Mazzoni.

Jeffrey Williams

Williams, a graduate of Weed High School and College of the Siskiyous, became the newest member of the WRPD Board of Directors and was sworn in April 16, 2020, to take the place of Evelyn Smith, who passed away earlier this year.

Since returning to Weed in 2016, Jeffrey has become the SAFE Program Coordinator at Weed Elementary School and created an AAU Basketball Program, which serves community youth ages 12 through 18. Making a positive impact in his community is Jeffrey’s first priority and he looks forward to doing more in the future.
