Loui Augustine Zambonin, a resident of Redding, California, passed away on December 24, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. He was 82 years old.

Loui was born in Weed, California. He moved to Shasta County from Weed 34 years ago. He worked as a supervisor for Pacific Bell.

Loui was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie Zambonin in 2003.

Survivors include his son, Steve Zambonin of Central Point, Oregon; daughter, Kathy Nicholson of Redding; brother, Bepino Zambonin of Livermore; four grandchildren: Sarah, Corey, Amanda and Holly; and longtime companion of 10 years, Sharon Pember.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 4 at 2 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Weed, with Reverend Mario Valmorida officiating. Burial is at Mt. Shasta Memorial Park in Mt. Shasta.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
