Irvin Kenneth Yeager
Irvin Kenneth Yeager passed away on August 22, 2021, in Mount Shasta, California.
Born in Merced, California, he relocated with his family to Davis, where he graduated from high school. He lived in the Sacramento area before joining the military and travelling Europe during his career.
He is survived by his wife, Anastasia Yeager of Weed, as well as his three daughters, Sonia Moon of Sydney, Australia; Irene Yeager Tokstad of Sacramento, and Simone Yeager of San Jose. He is survived by two grandsons, Dylan Moon and Justin Yeager, as well as his brother, Keith Yeager of Woodland, California.
He was member of the Kiwanis Club of Weed/Lake Shastina, and a board member of the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden. He was also a founding member of the Chickasaws of Northern California. He loved keeping his mind active by reading, playing chess and online games, and treasured time spent camping in the redwoods.
