Roger Thomas Kosel

Roger Thomas Kosel passed peacefully on the evening of July 4th, 2021. True in life, he was surrounded by family and close friends as he embarked on his final journey of independence. It is impossible to capture Roger's magnetic essence in a few words, yet he will forever be remembered as a man of incredible strength, determination, resilience, and heart. His witty sense of humor and easy smile will be missed, as well as his sharp intellect, compassionate spirit, and desire to give back to his communities. He was always one to prioritize time with his loved ones, to stop and smell the roses, to savor profound poetry, and to indulge in a big bowl of ice cream.

We will be celebrating the full and remarkable life of Roger Kosel on September 25, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Mount Shasta Ski Park. Due to current conditions and a desire to respect everyone's health, the celebration will be held outdoors and we request anyone wishing to attend to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Disposable masks will be available if you forget. If you are unable to attend, a recording of the event will be shared via YouTube in the days following. To RSVP, please email ari.kosel@gmail.com.
