Thomas Anthony Hofer

McCloud - Thomas Anthony Hofer passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 74.

Tom was born on July 11, 1947, in McCloud, California. He was the third of four children to Joe and Lucille Hofer. He graduated from McCloud High School in 1965 as a 4-year letterman in athletics. He graduated from College of the Siskiyous in 1967 and later completed a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Professional Studies from Shasta Bible College.

Tom was an avid outdoorsman, with his favorite activities being skiing, hunting, and fishing. He worked as a log truck driver for most of his life, and also cut firewood for himself and others. He was also a very involved member of the First Baptist Church of McCloud for over 40 years.

Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife Judy (née Baldi). He is survived by his daughters Julie Moser (John) and Brenda Hofer (Brad), granddaughters Jacie Moser (20) and Jocelyn Moser (14), brothers Mike Hofer (Sweet Home, OR) and Bill Hofer (Weed, CA), aunt Thorah Cossairt (Rancho Cordova, CA), and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Mount Shasta Memorial Chapel.
