On November 11th, 2021 Patricia Ann Malette Lemster Pappas (know to many as TuTu), at the age of 86 made a peaceful journey into the arms of Jesus.
Born August 22nd, 1935 in Monmouth, Illinois, her family moved and settled in the Los Angeles area where she lived for quite a few years. While having aspirations of working in the entertainment business and singing with her brother and sister they formed the Malette Trio. Patricia held that love for singing her entire life. It was here in L.A. that she met and married her first husband Ken Lemster and had 3 children: Daralee, Craig and Carrie. The family started a ranch and named it the Lazy L. It operated in this area for several years before relocating the ranch to the Arcata area. In addition to being a rancher, wife, mother and avid gardener, Pat went to school and became a surgical nurse. She then worked at several locations in the Arcata area for 10-12 years.
After 53 years of marriage her husband Ken passed away, but after a time, God had a plan for her to meet and marry Peter Pappas of Lake Shastina. They shared their love for each other and their love of Christ for 12 years before her passing. As an active member of the Weed Berean Church for many years, she always shared her love of God openly and unapologetically as she would want us to do.
She is survived by her husband Pete, her children, step children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful loving wife to Pete and a true source of strength, love and light to all who knew her. Patricia will forever be missed but remain forever in our hearts.
