Barbara Jean Zanni

September 9th, 1950 – January 11th, 2022

It is with our heavy hearts to announce the passing of Barbara Jean Zanni (Salisbury) on January 11, 2022, in Mt. Shasta, after a long battle with cancer. She was 71 years old. Barbara was born on September 9th, 1950, in Mt. Shasta Ca to George Salisbury and Dorothy Salisbury (Harsch). Barbara is predeceased by Mother Dorothy Salisbury, Father George Salisbury, Husband Alan Zanni and Son Adam Zanni. She is survived by Sons James Zanni and Chris Zanni (Shelby) and daughter Dori Defalco (Mike), Rebecca Zanni and Jennifer Zanni, along with 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Barbara was married to her loving husband Alan for over 42 years prior to his passing in 2013. She worked in Food Service for over 50 years and Alan and Barbara where active members of the Mt. Shasta Elks club for many years. Barbara had a love for books but most of all bringing her family together. She was a loving mother, grandparent, and friend to all she knew. She will be truly missed by all she touched in her life.

A celebration of life will be held on February 12th ,2022 at 1pm at 326 North Mount Shasta Blvd, at the Mount Shasta Elks Lodge. In Lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society or Mercy Mount Shasta Hospice.
