Angelina Sotelo was a native of Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico, was married and emigrated to Dunsmuir, California, in 1946, at age 17. She passed away in Sacramento, California, after a brief illness, at age 92.
She was preceded by her parents, her sister, her husband Martiniano (“Mike”) Sotelo and her daughter Maria Sotelo-Poulsen. She is survived by her two sons, Louis, and Mike, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Angelina was friendly, hard-working, warm-hearted, and dedicated to family. She was also known for her passion for cooking, crocheting blankets and articles of clothing for her family, her love for gardening, and her affinity for birds.
A Rosary and Memorial Service will be held in Sacramento, California, on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, commencing at 10am, Saint Anthony Parish, 660 Florin Road, with a Reception and Lunch to follow at 12pm.
