On June 1, 2022, the family of Sandra (Sandy) L. Pfeiffer-Glover lost a beautiful daughter, a sweet and kind sister, a fiercely loving mother, and a deeply devoted wife.
Sandy was born on January 16, 1964, in San Jose, California, and was the daughter of James H. and Ella L. (Thurman) Pfeiffer.
Sandy was a proud graduate of Leland High School, class of 1982, and graduated with honors from College of the Siskiyous. She served the health needs of her community through her work as a medical assistant and ultimately an LVN at Fairchild Medical Center, a critical access hospital in Yreka, CA.
In 1999 she gave birth to her beloved son, Zachary Converse Pfeiffer, the son of Leif Hansen.
In 2008 Sandy reconnected with her best friend from high school, Vaughn E. Glover and learned that she had always been the love of his life! On July 18, 2010, they happily married while on an Alaskan cruise. Living in San Jose until 2017, they moved to Fernley, Nevada, where they spent the last 5 years. They would have celebrated 12 years of marriage this month.
In addition to her husband Vaughn, her son Zach, and her parents Jim and Ella, Sandy is survived by her siblings Bonnie and James Pfeiffer Jr., her foster sister Ana de Luna, her stepchildren Jaclyn and Brendon Glover, her dog Rascal, and a large loving family of relatives.
Those who knew Sandy will miss her radiant smile and giving heart. She was a blessing to all while she was here.
