Linda was born September 20, 1948 and passed away January 26, 2021.

Daughter of Walton and Patricia Fuller, Linda was born in Quincy, CA. She grew up near Burney, CA and received her diploma from Fall River Joint Unified High School. Later, Linda attended Heald Business College in Redding, CA and studied to become a Court Reporter.

Linda worked for the State of California as a public servant for 23 years. She was the office manager for the Mount Shasta Branch of the California Highway Patrol, where she retired in 1994.

Linda loved to bowl and created many great memories at the Weed Bowling Alley – participating in a few leagues with her friends and family. She also loved the outdoors, fishing and gardening. Linda was married to Allen Schaeffer of Mount Shasta for nearly 25 years, was Stepmother of Kristine Schaeffer Fisher & Katherine Schaeffer, and Grandmother of Kosai & Nicholas French.

Throughout her life, Linda supported many organizations, including various Catholic Ministries, the SPCA and the Smithsonian Institution. Linda loved her children, grandchildren, nephews, and her many animals. Every person or creature to cross her path knew of her love and kindness. Linda died suddenly and tragically of Covid 19 on January 26, 2021, when our Lord called her home.

She is survived by her sister Deborah DeSelle (John), Stepdaughter, Katherine Schaeffer (now deceased), Stepdaughter, Kristine Schaeffer Fisher (Ron), grandsons, Kosai French, and Nicholas French.

Due to the Covid situation, her funeral was delayed and is now scheduled to be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Mt. Shasta on August 6th, beginning at 11:00 am. A luncheon reception will follow at the Parish Hall. A private family inurnment ceremony will follow at the Mt. Shasta Cemetery.
