It is with our deepest sorrow, we announce that Steven David Ramos Jr., our most beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend to many, passed away tragically in a car accident on June 30, 2022.
Steven was born on May 7, 2002, in Folsom, California. He spent his youngest years living in Placerville, CA until our family moved to Savannah, Georgia where Steven attended Georgetown Elementary. At the age of 12, our family moved to McCloud, California, where Steven finished his middle school years and went on to graduate from McCloud High School in 2020.
Although just 20 years old at the time of his passing, Steven affected many during his short life. Steven will be remembered for his sideways smirk, great sense of humor, and contagious laugh. A kid with a kind heart, quiet demeanor, and at times a stubborn streak. Steven loved to socialize among his friends, and enjoyed playing Magic the Gathering, World of Warcraft, and Dungeons and Dragons, along with many online video games. Steven enjoyed making people laugh and brought joy to those around him. From the time Steven could hold a pencil, he was drawing pictures. His artistic talents shined through in his creative personality. Steven would often share his artwork, leaving behind a piece of his heart and soul with those he loved. Those who knew Steven lost a shining light in their lives.
Steven will be missed every day by his Father, Steven David Ramos Sr., his Mother, Amber Ramos, his Brother, Ryder James Ramos, his Grandparents, Robert Shawn and Christine Orr, David Ramos (Joan Ramos), and Kathleen Harris (Carl Harris), along with his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many dear friends.
Steven joins his Great-Grandfathers, Melvin Orr and Thomas Carrigg, Great - Grandparents, John and Carol Himmel, Great-Uncle, Bryan Carrigg, and Cousin, Joseph Himmel in Heaven.
We love and miss you so much, Steven. You are always in our minds and in our hearts. The world is a lesser place without you in it.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Steven on August 13, 2022 from 11:30-2:00 at the Axe & Rose restaurant in McCloud, Ca. We encourage all who knew Steven and his family to join us in celebrating and honoring his life.
