Alan Robert Burnett, 75, of McCloud, California passed away October 12th, 2022 in Sacramento, California. He was born May 16th, 1947 in Hollywood, California to Raymonde Herment and Prentice Burnett.

Alan grew up in the Los Angeles area, raised by his single mother Raymonde. After graduation, he served in the army, and then began his career as a brakeman for Santa Fe Railroad for 20 years. He married Sandra Marlene Gill in 1982. After having three children, they moved to Redding, California where they lived for many years. After the passing of his wife Sandra on July 16, 2007, Alan continued to live in the Northern California area until his last days. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as listening to music, camping, and watching sci-fi tv.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Brian Faulkner of Lake Benton, Minnesota; his son, Lyle Burnett of Hill City, South Dakota; daughter and son-in-law Martina and Troy Fellbaum of Watertown, South Dakota; grandchildren, Micah, Kaia, Rykken, and Brayden Burnett; Camryn and Chloe Burnett. Alan was preceded in death by his wife Sandra; his parents, Raymonde and Prentice Burnett, and his brother Clinton Burnett.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 27th at Dunsmuir Cemetery in Dunsmuir, California.
