Monica Eileen Ward Conan

Monica Eileen Ward Conan was born February 21, 1921 in a small Montana town 12 miles south of the Canadian border. Monica, the last of thirteen children, was raised in Montana and Yakima, Washington. She attended the University of Oregon at Eugene, and then settled in Southern California for most of her adult life. Monica was married to Clayton Conan for over forty years and widowed since 1983. Monica was a world traveler and adventurer her whole life. She lived independently and remained active, attending exercise classes at the wellness center in Mount Shasta up to December of 2022, while 101 years young. She passed away at home in Mount Shasta, California on January 1, 2023. She is survived by two adult children, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
