Susan Kay Williams

Susan Kay Williams passed away peacefully at Mercy Medical Center Redding on February 15th, 2023 due to complications with her health. Susan Kay Pelletier was born on January 30th, 1962 in McCloud Ca, to her parents Ray and Angie Pelletier. Susan grew up in McCloud and attended high school in McCloud as well. She played Volleyball and Basketball throughout her school days. She was once named Miss McCloud during her high school years. Susan was Valedictorian her Senior year and went onto be accepted at U.C. Davis. She met her first Husband Andy Williams while attending multi-school functions in McCloud. They were together for a number of years working in the bay area on their schooling and careers. She finished her business degree at University of Chico. Susan went onto become a retail manager in the corporate sector. She and Andy later divorced and she then met her second husband Paul Fredette and had their son Scott Fredette shortly after. They were together for a short time after which Susan moved to Livermore CA. She worked at Cellular Warehouse while raising her young son for almost 10 years. Susan later made the decision to be closer to her family and raise her son in a more peaceful area. They moved to Redding Ca 17 years ago. She was a very caring and supportive mother, friend, sister, and daughter to all in her life. She would always talk or listen to you as long as you needed. She wanted to share her joy with those around her. She was a loving mother and grandma who went above and beyond her limitations at times. She loved music and to cheer on those she cared about be it sports or life. She will be greatly missed by her family. She also will be missed by friends Joyce H., Gayle H. and many other friends. She is preceded in death by her mom Angie Pelletier, grandparents John and Kay Roth, Maurice and Jeanette Pelletier, uncle Robert Pelletier and Carl Roth. She is survived by her father Ray ( Elizabeth ) Pelletier, brother Raymond ( Kris ) Pelletier, son Scott Fredette, and grandsons August Fredette and Ivan Fredette and many other family members.

Susan’s celebration of life will be held at St Josephs Catholic Church in McCloud CA on March 18th at 1 p.m.
