Dave Pearce

Dave Pearce, a longtime resident of Weed, passed away on June 8, 2020 of natural causes. He was 79 years old.

His is survived by his 3 daughters, Deb, Pam and Sandee his 2 sons, Rick and Tim and 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving him are his 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Dave enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, mushroom hunting, fishing and Chevy car shows. The family fondly remembers him cooking Thanksgiving dinners for the Weed Fire Department.

From 2006 – 2014 Dave served on the Weed City Council and two terms as Mayor. During this period the Weed water rights became an issue which he researched extensively and was a proud member of the Weed Nine.

At his request, no services were held and he is now resting with his devoted wife Jackie.

The family thanks all friends, neighbors and the community for everything they all have done to help our Dad.
