Obituary: 'Marge' Chitwood

Margaret Ann (Marge) Chitwood passed away peacefully on January 27, 2021 in Redding, California.  

Marge was born in Fletcher, Oklahoma but moved to Weed, California as a young child. She graduated from Weed High School. She married Charles R. (Chuck) Chitwood on December 9, 1961. They remained happily married in Mount Shasta for over 59 years until her death.  

Marge worked in women’s clothing sales and owned the MC Fashions Store in Mount Shasta for many years. 

She is survived by her husband Chuck; son Mark Chitwood; daughter Lori Schwarz; brothers Melvin and Danny Dawson; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
