The Cerro Coso Community College women’s soccer team wrapped up a rough 2018 season with a 2-0 shutout loss on the road to Taft College on Friday afternoon.
For the Lady Coyotes, the loss dropped them to 3-16-1 overall on the season and just a 1-11 record in Central Valley Conference games.
The Cougars first got on the board when freshman defender Brooke Hamer made it 1-0. Just minutes later after a penalty on Cerro Coso, sophomore forward Bri-Leigh Snow added Taft’s second and final goal of the match.
Taft finished its 2018 regular season campaign with an impressive 12-7-2 overall record and went 8-3-1 in CVC play.
