Greenville jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and led 34-14 at the half. McCloud put up six points in the third quarter, while Greenville scored 18 points to come away with the victory.
For the Loggers, freshman Drew Dutton had a very strong all around game He went 3-for-4 for 84 yards and two touchdowns at quarterback and had 157 receiving yards and a touchdown at wide receiver. On defense he had five solo and eight total tackles and recovered a fumble.
Senior David Wolfe had two sacks for McCloud and eight tackles. Senior Boaz Major had 84 receiving yards and two touchdowns and had five solo tackles and seven total tackles on defense.
This Friday, the Loggers are at the Chester Volcanoes for a 6 p.m. game.
