Mount Shasta host U-Prep this Friday for the final home game of the regular season on senior night, followed by two road games to end the regular season.
The JV game is at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity contest has a 7:30 p.m. start.

The Mount Shasta Bears fell on the road to the East Nicolaus Spartans 48-6 Friday night.
MSHS fell to 3-4 overall and 1-1 in the Mid-Valley League. The Spartans are 6-1 overall and 2-0 in the MVL.
“Friday night was a tough game,” Bears head coach Dave Kindley said. “East Nick has gone undefeated in league for the last several years. My guys came out fired up and ready to battle Friday night and that’s exactly what we did.”
Coach Kindley said the team played tough in the first half and held the Spartans to 13 points. East Nicolaus scored 35 points in the third quarter to pull away from the Bears..
“We started running out of gas in the third quarter,” Kindley said. Mount Shasta scored in the third quarter when JT Kennedy scooped up a muffed punt and returned it for the TD.
In the junior varsity contest, the Bears lost by the score of 42-0.
