Despite less than stellar conditions, the third race of the North Division High School Alpine season took place at the Mt. Shasta Ski Resort Monday.

JT Kennedy of Mount Shasta High School finished in first place in boys snowboard, while Tate Harkness earned the top spot in the girl's snowboard competition.

Ethan Weaver placed second for Mount Shasta in boys snowboard. Fellow Bear Bryce Harkness was third in the boy's ski event. Sydney Chase of Mount Shasta placed third in the girl's ski race.

The fourth week of the Alpine season resumes up at Mt. Shasta this Monday, Feb 3.
