Today's News: Our Take - Ratings: The Following Starts Strong

The Following got off to a killer start Monday.
The Kevin Bacon serial killer thriller premiered to 10.4 million viewers and a 3.1 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, building on its Bones lead-in (8.5 million, 2.3) by a comfortable margin. The numbers are also more than double that of timeslot predecessor The Mob Doctor's in the fall, but fell shy of the 3.3 Alcatraz's premiere pulled in the slot last January.
