Ron Moore's new Starz series Outlander has added another Game of Thrones alum. Duncan Lacroix, who played a Karstark soldier on the HBO series, has joined the cast, the network announced Tuesday.

Game of Thrones' Tobias Menzies joins Ron Moore's Outlander

Based on the book series from Diana Gabaldon, Outlander follows Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743 and forced to marry Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), a young Scottish warrior. Lacroix will play Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser, Jamie's mysterious and dark godfather whose reputation precedes him. At first skeptical of Claire, like his fellow clansmen, Murtagh eventually warms to her.
