NCIS: New Orleans Casts Fast & Furious Star

Fast & Furious star Lucas Black has joined the cast of CBS' NCIS: New Orleans, TVLine.com reports.
The upcoming spin-off, which will launch as a backdoor pilot in a spring NCIS two-parter, will focus on the New Orleans office of NCIS that handles cases from Pensacola through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle.
Black, whose other credits include the Friday Night Lights movie and 42, will play Special Agent LaSalle, a no-nonsense federal agent. He joins the previously cast Scott Bakula, Zoe McLellan and CCH Pounder.
