The College of the Siskiyous Vocal Jazz Ensemble spring concert is scheduled for Friday, April 25, in the COS Ford Theater in Weed at 7 p.m.

The group, under the direction of Roger Emerson, will feature selections from The Doobie Brothers and Simon and Garfunkel as well as other well known jazz and pop artists.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults or $5 for children and students. They are available at the door.

Emerson, a widely performed choral arranger and composer who has over 30 million copies of his music in circulation, has been the director of the COS Vocal Jazz Ensemble for the past five years and is a former COS music student.

He says a highlight of the concert will be selections from “Les Miserables,” featuring choreography by John Jacobson.
