Here are five ways to have fun this weekend.

1. There is only one big movie opening this weekend, and it’s a doozy: “Jurassic World”! The PG-13 flick, starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Judy Greer, is one of the summer’s most anticipated movies. It’ll be a fun one, it seems.

2. Sunday is Flag Day, and many places around town are likely to be holding events. Check the newspaper for listings, or get creative and make your own flags this weekend.

3. The Women’s World Cup is currently taking place, and the U.S. team plays its second game Friday night, taking on Sweden. Gametime is 8 p.m. EDT on Fox. USA, USA, USA!

4. Two tasty holidays are on tap this weekend: Banana Split Days and National Lemonade Days. These seem to be regional events, but you can enjoy the flavors of these, too. Make your own lemonade (homemade is the best) one day and then go out for a banana split (or make your own, of course) the next day. Yum.

5. In other sports action, this weekend will see games in the NBA and NHL finals, and MLB and MLS are in action. Check the TV listings for game times.
