Lines of classic cars graced Weed’s Main Street Saturday afternoon for the Chamber of Commerce’s Rollin’ Weed car show. In total, 32 cars entered the show, said Chamber representative John Diehm, from across Siskiyou County and beyond.

Those who strolled through the rows of 32 vintage cars and trucks during Saturday’s Rollin’ Weed car show enjoyed a relaxed, if hot, day.

Weed Chamber of Commerce representative John Diehm said cars came from across Siskiyou County and beyond, with winners awarded at Abner Weed Plaza during a ceremony at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Setting the mood and bringing back memories of the “old days” was Al Sosa of Lake Shastina, providing music from the ’50s and ’60s. Show-goers kept themselves cool with snowcones and other cool treats for sale nearby as the afternoon temperatures rose to more than 100 degrees.
