Saturday's free Transceiver Clinic and Companion Rescue Practice is an opportunity to better understand and practice with a transceiver. Meet at 9 a.m. at The Fifth Season, downtown Mount Shasta.

Bring your own or practice with a variety of supplied modern transceivers. Attend to learn or just to practice. Open to all levels of experience. Both courses are a starting point for avalanche education, as well as refresher courses.
