Ratings: Survivor Up; Idol Falls Again
After posting its lowest premiere ever, Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites rebounded in Week 2.
Wednesday's episode drew 9.4 million viewers and a 2.5 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, up a tenth from last week. Lead-out Criminal Minds (10.7 million, 2.7) tied a series low and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (10.5 million, 2.3) was up two-tenths.
American Idol (14.2 million, 4.1) slipped to its lowest rating in 11 years, dropping two-tenths.
Most of ABC's lineup grew, while Katie Couric's Oscar special (4.9 million, 1.3) was down 28 percent from Nashville's performance in the 10 o'clock slot.
