Easter snow day
Gene Eagle

What started out to be a snowman became a nine-foot tall Easter Bunny created by 10 year old McCloud friends Logan Bambino and Trevor Carrel.
Logan said they started building a snowman at the top of Quincy Avenue Saturday morning and decided that since the following day was Easter they would make an Easter Bunny instead.
They sprayed it with some food coloring and water and placed a few colored eggs around the base. Cool daytime temperatures ensure that this bunny will be around for a few more days for everyone to see.
Snow is falling Easter Sunday morning in the Mt. Shasta Area and forecasts call for it to continue through Monday.
