The Shasta-Trinity National Forest was scheduled to begin an asphalt patching project on Powder Hill Road (43N49) within the Shasta-McCloud Management Unit on Wednesday, June 27. It is expected to last several weeks.

The work began approximately 3.4 miles northeast of Powder Hill’s intersection with Harris Springs Road, and will continue for nine miles.
