Pittsford man wins $1 million lotto prize

All it took was $5 for one local man to make millions.

The New York Lottery announced today that a 64-year-old Pittsford man who is a self-employed realtor recently hit the jackpot in the game Liberty's Millions and will end up with a check for $1 million. Representatives from the state Lottery won't reveal the identity of the man beyond that information, but will hold a press conference at noon tomorrow where Lottery spokeswoman Yolanda Vega will present the prize check.

The event will take place at the main court between Sears and JCPenney at Eastview Mall in Victor.

The odds of hitting the jackpot in Liberty's Millions is one in 3,175,200, according to the state's Lottery Web site.
