Arrest made in series of robberies in Plymouth area
Police on Tuesday arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with a string of robberies.
Dana W. Campbell, of 48 Huntington Road, was charged with three counts of armed robbery in Plymouth, and police have tied him to similar robberies in Kingston and Carver.
Police said he showed a gun as he robbed a D’Angelos in Plymouth Monday at 5 p.m. and again later that night.
Campbell was pulled over by Plymouth police and arrested shortly after a robbery at an Exxon Station on Commerce Way in Plymouth Monday night.
The police found a BB pistol that looked like a real gun and cash stuffed under a seat.
He was also charged with the robbery of a Citgo station on Samoset in Plymouth on Dec. 2.
He has also been connected to the robberies of a Hess gas station in Kingston and a McDonald’s in Carver last weekend.
He is being looked at for a Wareham robbery but has not yet been formally connected with it.
He was held overnight on $10,000 and was to be arraigned Tuesday.
