Elderly couple finds undressed stranger in their home
An elderly couple found an unwelcome surprise Monday night when they returned to their Kevork Avenue home to find a stranger in his underwear asleep on their bedroom floor.
The man, who police identified as 27-year-old Ryan Lundberg of Marlborough, was arrested after police arrived about 7:30 p.m. The homeowners, who asked not to be identified, said they waited outside after discovering Lundberg, who did not wake up until police arrived.
After entering the house, Lundberg stripped to his underwear and left his clothes throughout the house, according to a police report on file at Marlborough District Court.
Police found Xanax, a tranquilizer, amoxicillin, an antibiotic, and glyburide, a medication for diabetics, in the pockets of Lundberg's pants, which were on the kitchen counter, according to the report. Police also found gold jewelry, which did not belong to the homeowners. Lundberg told police he did not know who owned the jewelry but said it did not belong to him, according to police.
Lundberg was arraigned yesterday in Marlborough District Court and released on $250 cash bail by Judge Andrew D'Angelo, with conditions that he stay away from the Kevork Avenue house.
Lundberg is charged with breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, receiving stolen property over $250, and two counts of possession of a Class E drug, police said.
His next court date is a May 15 pretrial hearing.
