Milton murder victims identified

Two men were killed Saturday morning and another wounded in a shooting in Milton.

The men who died were identified as Rodney Almond, 37, of Kahler Avenue, Milton, and Asa Finley, 26, a father of three from Mattapan, police said.

About 2:30 a.m., one vehicle pulled up next to another near the intersection of Brook Road and Randolph Avenue, the Norfolk County District Attorney's office said. Police found evidence that at least 14 shots had been fired and said it was not a random shooting.

The man driving the car that was shot up was not wounded and drove to Carney Hospital in Dorchester.

Police said the men had apparently been at the Vault nightclub in Randolph, formerly the Copa Grand, before  the shooting.

Milton, state and Boston  police and investigators from District Attorney William R. Keating's office are investigating. More details will be posted after a 10 a.m. Sunday press conference in Milton.
