Benjamin Nahabedian, 60, of Arlington died this morning when he lost control of his BMW on Route 128 and was ejected when the vehicle rolled several times.

Nahabedian's car flipped in the northbound lane near the Lexington exit at about 6:15 a.m., police said.

Nahabedian was driving a 2007 BMW X3 northbound in the left lane on 128 in Lexington at about 6:15 a.m. when he lost control. The vehicle veered to the right and struck a 2005 Nissan Altima, causing the BMW to roll several times. Nahabedian was ejected from the vehicle.

The Altima driver, Joseph Grace, 57, of Framingham, was uninjured.

“The BMW came to rest on its roof off the right side of the road,” state police said. “The operator of the BMW sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.”

The two right lanes of Route 95 North were closed for approximately 2 1/2 hours.

Lexington Police and Fire Departments and MassHighway assisted troopers at the scene.
