Mathew and Kathleen Ray of Mount Shasta, were married on September 19, 2009 at the home of the groom’s parents, Mike and Teri Ray in Mount Shasta.

Matron of Honor was sister of the bride, Maureen Elgin of Roseville. Bridesmaids were also sisters of the bride, Jennifer Roberts of Davis and Mary Shannon of Dunsmuir, and sister of the groom, Kristi Duncan of Lake Shastina.

Best Man was Johnathan Duncan of Lake Shastina. Groomsmen were Brad Roberts of Davis, Doug Marino of Medford, Oregon and Walker Reise of North Bend, Oregon.

Flower girl was Heidi Kathleen Elgin.

The flowers for the wedding were designed by the bride’s sister, Jennifer.

The bride’s bouquet featured cascading white and purple orchids. The bridemaids bouquets featured fuschia dahlias, orchids, roses and Bells of Ireland.

Guests enjoyed a dinner catered by Toni and Eileen Congi.

Music was provided by Doug Daudell.

The couple enjoyed a week long honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.

The bride is the daughter of Mary Powell of Redlands.

The brides grandparents are Kay Roth of Dunsmuir, Mr. and Mrs. Peterson of Calabasas, and Mr. and Mrs. Shannon of Redding.

The groom’s grandmother is Sonja Swindler of Medford, Oregon.

The groom is employed with Siskiyou Muffler and Diesel Performance and the bride is employed with SMS Connect Authorized AT&T Retailer in Mount Shasta.


Isaac Dye of Mount Shasta and Betty Reynolds of Cleveland, Texas were married at 6 p.m. on September 6, 2009 at Crawford’s Barn in Sacramento. Minister Greg Bragg officiated the ceremony.

Isaac is the son of William and Kay Dye of Mount Shasta. He is a 2002 graduate of McCloud High School and a 2008 graduate of Sacramento State University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - Construction Management.

Isaac is currently employed as a project manager with Panattoni Construction, Inc. of Sacramento.

Betty is the daughter of Jerry and Debra Reynolds of Cleveland, Texas. She is a 1999 graduate of Cleveland High School and is currently attending American River College in Sacramento for a Nursing degree.

She is currently employed in accounting with Panattoni Construction, Inc.
