Look ahead

- Geek Pride Day - observed on May 25 to mark the premiere of the first “Star Wars” – is a day to celebrate all things nerd or geek.

- Wednesday is World Turtle Day. The day was created to promote awareness of turtles and tortoises and their habitats.

- Another week, another big movie. “Men in Black III” opens this week. It’s rated PG-13 and stars Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin. Also opening this week are “Moonrise Kingdom,” a PG-13 movie from director Wes Anderson; and “Chernobyl Diaries,” an R-rated horror flick.

- There are a handful of big albums coming out Tuesday, including ones from John Mayer, Garbage, Joey Ramone, Oak Ridge Boys, Six Feet Under and Slash.
