Morning Jolt: Spain soccer team makes history

In the news: On Sunday, Spain made history in the soccer world by becoming the first nation to win three major tournaments in a row: the 2008 European Championships, the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championships. Spain beat Italy 4-0 in the final of the Euros, a monthlong tournament held every four years. 

Happening today: Aimee Copeland, the woman who was injured in a zip-line accident and then suffered from flesh-eating bacteria, is expected to go home from the hospital today. Copeland lost her hands, a leg and a foot to the disease. 

Gas update: reports that the cheapest gas is in South Carolina ($2.902) and Mississippi ($2.991).

Three black bear cubs are being kept at The Alaska Zoo. They were taken to the zoo by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage after their mother was killed.
