Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton returned to work today after a monthlong absence. Clinton originally suffered from a stomach virus, which caused her to faint and have a concussion. She was then hospitalized for a blood clot near her brain as a result of the concussion. Staff members greeted Clinton with applause and a gag gift: a football helmet to protect her against further falls.
