The Super Bowl power outage has finally been explained, CNN reports. Utility company Entergy New Orleans announced that they had traced the outage to an electrical relay device meant to protect Superdome equipment. The device triggered when it shouldn't have, causing the partial power outage. While the company is unsure of what caused the mlafunction, they say they have taken steps to ensure it won't happen again.
