Jodi Arias addressed a jury today that will decide if she gets the death sentence, and she pleaded for her life. Previously she had said she prefers death, but today she said she would dedicate herself to helping others while in prison. Arias never apologized for killing Travis Alexander but said it was the “worst mistake” she’d ever made.

Teachers dove on top of students to protect them, reports said. The toll from the Oklahoma tornado is 24, including nine children.
