Mount Shasta marches against Monsanto

More than 100 people came out in Mount Shasta Saturday afternoon, March 25, to "March Against Monsanto."
Carrying signs bearing messages of protests, the group wound through Mount Shasta streets chanting things like, "No No GMOS!"
"March Against Monsanto" organizers say they're calling attention to the dangers posed by genetically modified food and the companies that produce it. Protests are planned in more than 250 cities Saturday, according to ABC News.
Also out and about in Mount Shasta are local firefighters working to "fill the boot" for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
