Weather's about to heat up in Mount Shasta

Mt. Shasta is half-covered in a new blanket of snow courtesy of last week's storms - but if the weather forecast is correct, it probably won't last long.

The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures in the mid to upper 90s over the next five days leading up the Thursday's July 4 celebration.

Temperatures could reach the 100s by Tuesday, July 2, according to the NWS.
