The Texas House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a bill that tightens restrictions on abortion, and the state Senate committee is set to vote tomorrow on if the bill should be sent to the full Senate. The bill was blocked two weeks ago after Democratic Sen. Wendy Davis filibustered for 10 hours.

He's a murderer ... he should be in prison." - Pierre L'Heureux, talking to CNN about Edward Burkhardt, the CEO of the railway company that had a runaway train explode in Quebec last weekend and kill at least 15 people. Burkhardt visited the scene of the explosion today and said he believes the engineer is to blame because he didn’t set all the trains handbrakes.
