Morning Jolt: NY Times website attacked by Syrian group

The website of the New York Times was down again today after what appears to be an attack by the Syrian Electronic Army. The hackers have been behind multiple website attacks recently and appeared to claim responsibility for shutting down the Times.
A woman in Vancouver found her stolen bike on Craigslist, and promptly “stole” it back. Kayla Smith’s bike was stolen last week. Only hours later, the bike was discovered listed on Craigslist, and Smith called up the seller/thief and arranged to look at the bike at a McDonald’s. She asked the man if she could test ride the bike and simply rode away.
Gasbuddy.com reports that the average price of gas in the U.S. is $3.573. Last month at this time it was $3.655, and last year at this time it was $3.743.
The Dow Jones opened at 14,776.13 after finishing down 170.33 points Tuesday amid fears over a Syria conflict.
