Spring break basketball clinic is senior project

Mount Shasta High School seniors Brandon Acord, Clay Ferguson and Daylon Blakely are putting on a basketball clinic over spring break as part of their senior project. The clinic is for students in grades 3-8.

Students in grades 3-8 are invited to learn basketball fundamentals and develop their skills during a clinic over spring break, April 14 to 17 in Mount Shasta High School’s gymnasium.

Scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to noon each day, the clinic is the senior project of Daylon Blakely, Brandon Acord and Clay Ferguson of the 2014 league champion Mount Shasta Bears team. Blakely was the SCL MVP, Acord and Ferguson made first time all-league.

The clinic will be coached by Mount Shasta High School varsity players.

The cost is $20 per player, and all proceeds will be donated to support the MSHS boys basketball program.
