AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MT. SHASTA AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO

MARIJUANA USES AND ACTIVITIES

The City Council of the City of Mt. Shasta does hereby ordain as follow:

Chapter 18.16, Section 18.16.010 of the City of Mt. Shasta Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:

18.16.010 Designation of regulations

(a) Except as provided hereinafter, no structure shall be erected, reconstructed, enlarged, altered or moved; nor shall any building or land be used except as hereinafter specifically provided and allowed in the districts in which such structure or land are located. (Ord. 258, section 4.1, 1967)

(b) Unless expressly permitted by the City Municipal Code, or the California Health and Safety Code section 11362.1(a), all cultivation, manufacture, distribution, possession, storing, laboratory testing, labeling, transportation, distribution, delivery or sale of marijuana or marijuana products is prohibited within the City.
