City of Mt. Shasta Notice of Public Hearing: Application Fees, July 9, 2017
CITY OF MT. SHASTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Mt. Shasta City Council will conduct a public hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting of Monday, July 9, 2017 at the hour of 5:30 p.m. in the Upper Lodge at the Mt. Shasta City Park, 1315 Nixon Road, Mt. Shasta, CA 96067.
A public hearing will be held to establish the Special Event, Graphic Resurfacing, Temporary Graphic, and Permanent Graphic Application fees. The fees are determined by the staff time and hourly rate needed to process the application. State of California Government Code, Section 66014 prohibits a local agency from charging fees for these services which exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged.
Should any person challenge the proposals in court, that person may be limited to raising only those issues raised during the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to City Hall prior to the public hearing.
