City of Mt. Shasta Notice of Public Hearing: 'Mural Review,' July 9, 2018
CITY OF MT. SHASTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Mt. Shasta City Council will conduct a public hearing at their regularly scheduled meeting of Monday, July 9, 2018 at the hour of 5:30 p.m. in the Upper Lodge at the Mt. Shasta City Park, 1315 Nixon Road, Mt. Shasta, CA 96067.
The first reading of the addition of a new zoning code section Chapter 18.65 “Mural Review” will occur at the July 9, 2018 City Council meeting. The proposed chapter authorizes the establishment of guidelines, procedures, and standards for the integration of public murals onto private and public structures.
The proposed amendments are not considered a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because they do not have a direct or indirect impact on the environment.
Should any person challenge the proposals in court, that person may be limited to raising only those issues raised during the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to City Hall prior to the public hearing.
